Besides there official Disney Fort Wilderness, which has full and up to date amenities for all manner of RVs, there are numerous nearby campgrounds ready to give you a deal on a campsite for your RV. This can be a more economical way to visit Disney World, and the money you save on a hotel room you can use to extend your stay.
What attracts many other people to Florida RV camping is its natural parks and preserves. Many of these sites have campground facilities built into them, so you can park your RV amid nature's splendor. If you are a hiker of a biker who's looking for a bit of trekking, try the Florida Caverns State Park. Or if you're a ocean enthusiast, try Bahia Honda State Park. And if these don't suit you, keep looking. There are hundreds of parks in Florida, and many of them hidden gems waiting to be discovered by you.
